From the moment I stepped in, the vibe was set: warm lighting, a little sparkle from the bar, and that easy flow that lets you drift from conversation to conversation without feeling stuck. The crowd skewed delightfully mixed—twenty-somethings swapping weekend recs alongside seasoned pros comparing travel notes—so every introduction had its own flavor.
Speaking of flavor, the Tiburon team kept the energy high and the plates higher. Servers circled with bite-size sushi and crisp, shareable appetizers (the kind you can eat gracefully while laughing mid-story). The drinks were on point—balanced, bright, and made for mingling—not too fussy, not too strong, just…social.
Big shout-out to owner Chris Thomas and the Tiburon staff for nailing the tempo. The space made it ridiculously easy to meet multiple people without losing your original group—like the restaurant itself was rooting for conversation. Did I find love? TBD.
